As the leader of P&C Advanced Pricing and Segmentation, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and advancing the capabilities that strengthen analytics, automation, and system capabilities across P&C Finance, Actuarial, and key business partners. You will provide strong thought leadership and set the long-term vision for the future of analytical tools, new capabilities, and cross-functional improvements that improve decision-making, simplify processes, and build a strong, high-performing culture. This role requires deep strategic thinking and vision setting, strong technical expertise, and the ability to influence across a complex organization.

This job reports to VP, P&C Chief Actuary People leader: Manages team of 4 direct reports with total team up to 25 actuaries and analytic professionals.
Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, or related field.
FCAS Required
Typically, ten or more years of financial experience, with at least 5-8 years of post-FCAS experience.
Must have deep knowledge in finance and pricing processes underlying P&C products. Must have knowledge across a wide variety of P&C products. Must exhibit strong influence, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate process design and improvement skills, strong project management and change management skills.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. If a Sales job, Sales Incentives, based on performance goals are possible in addition to this range.
