Job summary

Ascend Vision Partners seeks a Vice President of Capitated Service Lines to own P&L and lead payer strategy across capitated ophthalmology programs in Florida and Texas. You will balance world-class clinical outcomes with financial sustainability while collaborating with finance, clinical leadership, and operations to scale provider capacity.

The role requires proven negotiation skills with health plans, data-driven decision making, and strong leadership across multiple sites to optimize revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ten years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Five years of leadership experience involving managed care, capitation, value-based care, payer contracting, or related functions.
• Experience negotiating material healthcare payer contracts.
• Experience managing financial performance and operating budgets.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives within a multi-site healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership over capitated service lines across Florida and Texas.
• Lead payer strategy and contract negotiations with Medicare Advantage plans, MCOs, IPAs, and TPAs.
• Align Finance, RCM, Patient Access and IT to optimize patient access and utilization management.
• Ensure a seamless, high-quality patient journey across clinics and regions.
