Job summary

SmartestEnergy US is seeking a Vice President Operations to own delivery excellence across all retail operations, reporting to the CEO and guiding strategic change as the company grows on its global path.

You will lead Customer lifecycle, pricing, settlements, and operations performance, chair the Retail Pricing Performance Committee, and build a capable team for market operations, with a focus on efficiency, profitability and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in management role in the energy industry with emphasis on Market or Retail Operations.
• Proven leadership in a rapidly growing company and transformational change delivery.
• Strong workflow understanding and change implementation experience.
• Experience presenting to senior executives and managing stakeholders.
• Desirable exposure to a global electricity trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Own customer lifecycle processes including sales support, enrollments, billing, collections and customer care.
• Lead pricing, contract structuring and market operations, including curve management.
• Chair key governance bodies and drive performance improvements across HUMS & SCOPE.
• Forecast and reconcile load, settlement and pricing accuracy; manage large/complex deals.
• Represent the company externally with customers, brokers and the industry and support strategy execution.
