Job summary

Gryphon Oakwood is seeking a senior operations executive to lead advanced manufacturing and life sciences activities. The role focuses on integrating modularization, off-site construction, and clean-process piping across pharmaceutical, biotech, and related sectors.

The candidate will drive growth, optimize performance, and build capability through workforce development while partnering with engineering, procurement and field teams to deliver complex projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in heavy industrial construction or related environments.
• Proven leadership of large-scale operations with safety, quality, cost and schedule accountability.
• Experience implementing advanced manufacturing methods, automation, modularization, or digital transformation.
• Strong financial acumen including budgets, capital investment, capacity planning, and cost control.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with engineering, projects, procurement and construction functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision and growth plan for Advanced Manufacturing and Life Sciences.
• Identify opportunities to expand capabilities, enter new markets, and strengthen customer relationships.
• Provide leadership across manufacturing, fabrication, and operations with clear performance expectations.
• Build capability through workforce development and leadership development.
• Drive automation, robotics, digital technologies, modularization, and off-site manufacturing.
• Develop standardized manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, cost and scalability.
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across fabrication and construction operations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs covering safety, quality, cost, schedule, capacity, throughput.
• Partner with engineering, estimating, procurement, project management, and field teams to optimize delivery.
• Oversee operational strategies supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and other advanced facilities.
• Develop capabilities in clean-process piping, high-purity utilities, cleanrooms, and specialized environments.
• Support commissioning, qualification, validation, and operational readiness with regulatory compliance.
