Job description

Provides strategic leadership and companywide oversight of core operational functions to ensure efficient, consistent, and scalable business performance. Owns enterprise operational strategy and execution, with accountability for operating results and alignment to business objectives. Partners across the executive team to improve performance, support revenue growth and margin outcomes, and establish standards that enable effective execution and long-term organizational success.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Operational Strategy & Leadership (25-30%)
  • Define and execute enterprise operational strategy, aligning operating plans with organizational objectives, market dynamics, and long-term growth targets.
  • Translate enterprise strategy into scalable operating models and actionable plans.
  • Lead companywide operational excellence initiatives, including productivity improvement, cost optimization, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and enforce enterprise service standards, KPIs, and escalation frameworks to ensure consistency, accountability, and high-quality execution.
  • Partner with top leadership to evaluate business trends, anticipate operational needs, and shape strategic priorities and the long-term operational roadmap.
  • Anticipate market, competitive, and internal factors impacting performance and proactively adjust strategies, plans, and resource priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement using performance data, customer insights, and operational metrics to enhance service delivery and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead multiple operational functions through a layered leadership structure.
  • Define organizational design, talent strategy, and capability planning.
2. Financial Accountability & Resource Optimization (15-20%)
  • Own and manage the enterprise operations budget, including expense management, cost optimization, and ROI for operational initiatives.
  • Direct resource-allocation decisions across operational functions to balance growth, efficiency, and service delivery.
  • Monitor and improve margin performance through operational efficiencies, vendor strategy, and process optimization.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and insights on operational performance, financial outcomes, and investment effectiveness.
3. Leases & Facilities Management (15-20%)
  • Own and lead facilities strategy, including lease portfolio optimization, capital planning, and space utilization.
  • Lead and manage lease and facilities operations, including negotiations, renewals, transitions, and vendor partnerships.
  • Oversee office planning initiatives, including consolidations and relocations, to support efficiency and growth.
  • Manage vendor and facility partner relationships to optimize cost, service levels, and long-term commitments.
4. Technology Execution (10-15%)
  • Evaluate, select, and implement industry-relevant technologies that enhance efficiency, reporting capabilities, and user experience.
  • Lead execution and rollout of technology solutions, overseeing cross-functional coordination for adoption, implementation, and integration.
  • Establish and monitor adoption metrics and performance outcomes, while troubleshooting issues, removing barriers, and driving continuous improvement.
5. Cross Functional Accountability, Communication & Program Management (15-25%)
  • Facilitate communication across departments, serving as the operational liaison to coordinate priorities and drive results across business functions.
  • Identify and remove operational barriers and resolve complex challenges that span multiple business units to improve overall effectiveness.
  • Establish and implement program management standards, tools, and reporting structures across the enterprise.
  • Support brand messaging and external communication needs.
  • Oversee communication strategies ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment.
6. Recruiting Operations & Talent Optimization (5-10%)
  • Own workforce planning and talent optimization strategy within operational scope, aligning staffing, structure, and capabilities to business needs.
  • Build a high-performing team and culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Direct daily operations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and service excellence.
  • Lead and coach leaders across multiple levels to drive engagement, performance, and retention, with emphasis on succession planning and development.
7. Compliance & Risk Management (5-10%)
  • Own enterprise operational compliance and risk management strategy to ensure adherence with industry regulations, internal controls, and policies.
  • Establish policies, procedures, and audit standards that protect and mitigate risk.
  • Lead internal audits, risk assessments, and the development of contingency or business continuity plans.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure practices remain compliant and up to date.
8. Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-5%)

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
Experience
  • 10+ years of related experience, including three years of supervisory / management responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive real estate experience including sales and training.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Project management skills. Proven ability to manage complex projects, vendor relationships, and shifting priorities.
  • Deep knowledge of industry-specific compliance standards, risk management, and operational regulations.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Expertise in operational process optimization and performance metrics.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and build alignment across teams.

  • Valid real estate license may be required.
