Job summary

US Conec Ltd. seeks a visionary Vice President of Technology to shape the company’s technology strategy and lead next-generation product development in passive optical interconnects. This executive role partners with product, operations, and commercial teams to accelerate growth and strengthen market leadership.

The role requires 15+ years in fiber optics, demonstrated NPI and IP achievements, and strong leadership to guide large engineering groups toward high-volume manufacturing success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Optical, or Materials Science.
• 15+ years in fiber optic components or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years in senior engineering or innovation leadership roles.
• Proven ability to develop technology roadmaps and lead large teams.
• Experience with NPI from engagement to high-volume production.
• IP development and patents track record.
• Strong business acumen and budget management.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technology strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
• Establish and communicate a clear technology vision that drives innovation and competitive advantage.
• Partner with leadership to define technology priorities, investments, and capabilities.
• Lead enterprise-wide innovation initiatives and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Direct R&D programs focused on next-generation passive optical interconnect technologies.
