617MediaGroup is seeking a Vice President to lead strategic communications and manage a talented team across multiple cities. The role focuses on conceiving high-impact campaigns, producing compelling content, and guiding designers and writers to deliver top-tier work.

The VP will drive client campaigns with a creative, collaborative approach in a fast-paced, campaign-like environment, with a commitment to social justice values and professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 7–9 years in strategic communications and media advocacy.
• Passion for social justice causes.
• Ability to create sharp content (social calendars, video scripts, op-eds).
• Experience overseeing multimedia/design projects; managing designers preferred.
• Experience with digital platforms and analytics to boost campaigns.
• Ability to design integrated campaigns using social media, online ads, emails, and web design.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute high-stakes communications campaigns.
• Develop strategy and creative assets for client campaigns (content calendars, mailers, landing pages, social visuals).
• Lead and grow teams of writers and designers to meet deadlines and deliver strong work.
