Job summary

Quanterix seeks a senior VP of Research & Development to lead strategy, execution, and portfolio management across Simoa and Spatial platforms. You will align R&D with product, commercial, and quality goals while translating customer needs into development priorities.

You will build and lead a multidisciplinary organization, establish governance, metrics, and milestones, and partner with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and regulated solutions.

Qualifications

Advanced degree (Ph.D., or equivalent) in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline strongly preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in R&D, product development, life sciences, diagnostics, biotechnology, or life science tools.

Responsibilities

Own the R&D strategy and portfolio for Simoa and Spatial technologies across product lines.
Lead end-to-end program execution with clear milestones, resources, and governance.
Provide strategic and technical leadership across assay, reagent, and platform development.
Collaborate with Product, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial to translate market needs into development priorities.
