Job summary

Harvey Hohauser & Associates is seeking a strategic, hands-on Vice President of Purchasing to lead purchasing across multiple manufacturing operations. This executive will focus on reducing total cost, improving quality and delivery, and mitigating risk while building a disciplined, forward-looking purchasing organization.

The role reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and will require close partnership with Finance, Operations, and Program Management to deliver measurable cost

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading purchasing within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Experience in automotive, engineered products, plastics, tooling, or related manufacturing preferred.

• Lead purchasing across multiple businesses, aligning strategy with operations and financial goals.
• Develop enterprise-wide sourcing strategies to consolidate spend and improve value.
• Drive supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, and risk management.
