SpotOn in New York, NY, seeks an experienced Product Leader to oversee the Intelligence, Reporting, and Innovative AI teams. You will report to the Global Head of Product Management and collaborate with the C-Suite to shape strategy, roadmaps, and impactful product capabilities.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Design, Product Management, Sales, and Support, and driving PM excellence to deliver AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management with at least 5 years leading a PM team.
• Fluent with AI tools like Claude, Vercel, or similar.
• Experience gaining customer insights by working with customers in setting product direction.
• Experience with iterative product development and delivering high quality features.

Responsibilities

• Define the product strategy and roadmaps for your product areas.
• Manage a PM team to explore market opportunities and shape the roadmap.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Product Management, Sales and Support to prioritise requests.
• Shape AI-enabled product vision and lead cross-functional execution.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Product Leader who is capable of leading a team to build innovative products. This Product Leader will oversee our Intelligence, Reporting, and Innovative AI teams. They will report directly to our Global Head of Product Management and work closely with our C-Suite to create strategy, define roadmaps, and build genuinely impactful, innovative products.

In This Role You Will

• Be a driving force of defining the product strategy for your product areas and a major contributor to SpotOn's overall product strategy.
• Be data driven and deep into the metrics and efforts that achieve the goals of our company and our customers.
• Manage a team of Product Managers as the team investigates market opportunities, builds the product roadmap, and makes strategic adjustments as needed based on client needs, data, and business priority.
• Be forward thinking in your approach to product vision and design. The world is rapidly evolving with AI and we believe that SpotOn must lead, not chase if we want to be authors of the future of the industry we love.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Product Management, Sales and Support to elicit, understand, rationalize, and prioritize requests for new functionality.
• Assess market competition, client preferences, emerging technologies, and industry trends to identify

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant product management experience or equivalent, with at least 5 years managing and coaching a team of Product Managers.
• Fluency with AI tools like Claude, Vercel, or similar.
• Demonstrated instances of "getting out of the building" to put yourself in the customer's shoes to understand their needs / how they interact with our products. Note: it is not uncommon for Product leaders at SpotOn to work shifts at our customer's restaurants/bars.
• Experience and comfort operating in metrics-driven work environments that leverages data to make informed decisions.
• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience designing and delivering quality products.
• An ability to manage multiple projects in an iterative process. Strong communication and presentation skills. This role requires presenting to multiple audiences ranging from groups of SMBs to seasoned Investors and Executives.
• Experience making decisions with imperfect information and comfort managing teams through ambiguity, and complexity.
• Past restaurant experience, especially working in a restaurant, is a serious plus, but not a hard requirement.

Compensation

• Base pay: range starts at $275,000 -$320,000 for this role
• Equity package: TBD based on the seniority of the candidate.
• Offers will be reflective of the candidate’s location and experience.
