Job summary

Restaurant365, a leading SaaS platform for restaurant back-office operations, seeks a VP of Payroll Operations and Services to own end-to-end payroll infrastructure for thousands of clients. You will drive accuracy, compliance, and reliability while scaling systems and teams across states.

You will partner with Product, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success, setting strategic direction for payroll operations and ensuring exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership in payroll and financial operations, preferably in SaaS.
• 5+ years owning payroll tax compliance across federal, state, and local levels.
• Experience building scalable operations, QA and compliance programs.
• Strong financial management, including liabilities and cost-to-serve metrics.
• Experience with banking relationships and risk management in payroll.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations across multiple states for SaaS clients.
• Own compliance, tax filings, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Develop KPI frameworks and scalable processes for growth.
• Lead, mentor, and structure a high-performing payroll team.
• Partner with Product, Finance, Legal and CS to embed payroll in roadmaps.
