Job summary

Yusen Terminals LLC is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead all operational aspects of the terminal and drive growth and efficiency. The role requires deep maritime/manufacturing leadership, strong budget and technology acumen, and a track record of strategic execution.

Based at Terminal Island, CA, the VP will shape OPERATIONS strategy, safety culture, and performance metrics, reporting to the CEO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 10+ years of management in maritime or manufacturing with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience evaluating and leveraging technology to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational functions and strategic initiatives.
• Drive KPIs in safety, service, cost reduction and efficiency.
• Develop budgets and monitor financial performance with leadership team.
• Mentor and manage the Director of Operations and other senior staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and corporate policies.
• Report quarterly results to the Board of Directors.
