Job summary

Garaginization is seeking a VP of Operations to manage everything from signed orders to finished installations for custom garages in Farmers Branch, TX. You will own installation, field service, supply chain, scheduling, and quality, and you will build scalable systems for growth while preserving craftsmanship.

• Full P&L ownership with measurable margin, lead time, and quality results.
• Data-driven leadership and comfort with field service management software.

Garaginization is hiring a VP of Operations to run everything between a signed customer order and a finished, five-star garage. You will own installation, field service, supply chain, scheduling, and quality, and you will build the systems that let us grow without losing the craftsmanship our customers expect.

About Garaginization

Garaginization turns cluttered garages into organized, usable space with custom cabinetry, wall storage, overhead racks, and durable flooring. We design, sell, and install every project, and our reputation rests on clean installs, on-time crews, and customers who refer their neighbors. We are growing fast and need an operator who can scale that experience across more crews, more markets, and more homes.

What you'll do

• Lead installation and field operations. Manage install managers, crew leads, and subcontractors, setting standards for safety, workmanship, and customer experience in every home.
• Own scheduling and capacity. Build a scheduling model that matches crew capacity to sales forecasts, shortens lead times, and keeps installs on the date we promised.
• Run supply chain and inventory. Manage vendors, purchasing, warehousing, and fleet so the right cabinets, hardware, and flooring materials arrive complete and on time.
• Drive quality and customer satisfaction. Track first-time-right installs, callbacks, warranty claims, and reviews, and fix root causes rather than symptoms.
• Manage the operations P&L. Own labor, materials, and logistics costs, improve gross margin per job, and set the operating budget with the owner.
• Build the team and utilize the systems. Recruit and develop team members and embrace the systems and tools (field service software, CRM integrations, dashboards) that give us real-time visibility.

What you bring

• 10+ years in operations, with at least 5 in a senior leadership role over field teams
• Experience in home improvement, home services, construction, installation, or another multi-crew field business
• A track record of scaling operations through rapid growth or multi-market expansion
• Command of capacity planning, inventory management, and vendor negotiation
• Full P&L ownership, with results you can measure in margin, lead time, and quality
• Comfort with field service management software and a habit of running the business on data
• A leadership style that earns respect from crew leads in the field and from team members in the office.
• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

experience with custom cabinetry or flooring installation, franchise or dealer networks.

• Base salary of $90K - $100k USD, plus annual performance bonus
