Job summary

DHL Supply Chain, within the DHL group, seeks a Vice President of Operations to drive strategy and growth across our US data center and distribution operations. Lead a large, geographically dispersed team to deliver on growth metrics while ensuring safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of management experience.
• 7+ years distribution/warehousing experience.
• Third-party Logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the executive leadership group in setting the business's vision, strategy, and agenda.
• Oversee operations across a wide geography, diverse customer base, and manage a vast team of leaders.
• Develop and implement a regional strategy for customer accounts within the assigned geography.
• Ensure a safe, productive, and results-driven environment through effective management and a commitment to excellence.
• Navigate an ever-changing marketplace with multiple priorities, serving diverse customers, vendors, managers, and associates.
• Accountability for negotiations, contract adherence, and successful execution of Business Continuity Agreements (BCAs).

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

10+ years management experience

7+ years distribution/warehousing experience

Third-party Logistics experience preferred
