A rapidly expanding food manufacturing company is conducting a confidential search for a Vice President of Operations. This company is a new and fast-growing entity in the food manufacturing sector, building something innovative. They are expanding quickly and seeking a qualified candidate to oversee operations across 3 facilities in the U.S. This is a remote position that requires travel.

Strategic Leadership & Execution

• Define and implement a unified operational strategy across all three plants aligned with company objectives.
• Translate high-level business goals into site-level production and operational plans.
• Act as a key member of the executive team, contributing to company-wide strategic decisions.
• Oversee plant management, process improvement & standardization, cross-functional collaboration, people & culture leadership, capital & infrastructure planning, and regulatory & compliance oversight.

What they’re looking for :

• 10 years of progressive operations leadership in a manufacturing environment, ideally within food or beverage.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple production facilities is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
• HACCP, PCQI, and OSHA Certifications.
• Familiarity with SQF.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a history of building or improving operations in high-growth or post-merger environments.
• Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Willingness and ability to regularly travel to each plant as needed.
