HIGHLIGHTS
As a Customer Operations Vice President, you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organizational operations while leading strategic initiatives to drive effectiveness and efficiencies. The role involves managing critical functions that ensure efficient and high-quality remote radiology services are provided to our customers.

THE ROLE

Job Functions

  • Strategic Leadership: develop and implement department operational strategies, ensuring that our teleradiology services are provided efficiently in alignment with the organization's goals.
  • Team Management: lead and manage the following:
    • Operations is responsible for delivering critical results affecting customers and their patients as well as our radiologists. Scheduling and assignment functions for radiologists assigning work distribution to provide proper coverage given appropriate workload and available licensed and credentialed resources.
    • Quality control and training managing quality reviews and directing resulting training for radiologists as well as providing initial customer and physician onboarding training.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members to accomplish department objectives.
  • Workflow Optimization: continuously analyze and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and turnaround time. Implement best practices, workflow automation, and new technologies to improve operations including oversight of PACS systems and other related operational technologies or software.
  • Telemedicine Technology: monitor, investigate and analyze emerging telemedicine and teleradiology technologies and trends such as AI applications that may have a beneficial impact on quality or performance.
  • Compliance and Accreditation: ensure that the company complies with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditations.
  • Client Relations: develop strong relationships with healthcare facilities and clients who rely on teleradiology services. Address their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Performance Metrics: establish and monitor KPIs related to report turnaround times, accuracy, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Use data to make informed decisions.
  • Crisis Management: develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted service, especially during emergencies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with radiologists, referring physicians, and healthcare organizations to maintain open communication and strong partnerships.

Skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationship with staff, customers, vendors and physicians; organize work and achieve goals and objectives
  • Excellent communication skills; strong customer service skills
  • Notable experience managing a customer operations department, preferably in an entrepreneurial or healthcare environment
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently or as part of the team
  • Knowledge of teleradiology regulations, HIPAA, and industry-specific best practices preferred
  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and telemedicine technologies helpful
  • Strong technology experience using technology applications to provide services or results
  • Command of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) essential

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Experience in management of a for profit, entrepreneurial company
