Role Summary

The Vice President (VP) of Operations at Spring Fertility provides leadership and strategic direction for all clinic locations within an assigned territory, operating in line with company policies, in partnership with the COO, CMO, medical directors, and local leadership. This is a dynamic role and one that is critical to the success of the day-to-day operations, clinical oversight and future of our organization.

This role is responsible for leading the delivery of consistent and disciplined operations to support superior patient experience at Spring Fertility clinics, including training and coaching, rolling out business and clinical operations, integration, and transformation initiatives, and driving both revenue growth and cost discipline while ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance.

The VP of Operations will involve themselves in granular protocols and processes of all clinics within the assigned territory, while focusing on long-term business needs of a fast-paced, premier fertility business, and having an overall mandate to strengthen culture, performance, and operational effectiveness.

Essential Functions
Clinical & Business Operations
  • Provides direct oversight of multi-clinic operations, partnering with the COO, CMO, Medical Directors, Physicians, Practice Managers, and local and shared service leaders to drive consistent, high-performing operations and day-to-day coordination across all offices in the assigned territory.
  • Sets and upholds high standards for patient and customer service to deliver a best-in-class care experience, champions initiatives that strengthen patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes, and manages interventions related to patient concerns with timely, thoughtful resolutions.
  • Conducts in-depth regional analysis to identify near- and long-term priorities, and leads strategic planning for practice growth across Spring's platform in partnership with Senior Leadership and CMO.
Team Leadership + Development
  • Leads and directly manages a team of direct reports – including Practice Managers, Clinical/Technical Managers, and Leads – providing oversight, coaching and performance management across clinical, business and administrative roles within the territory.
  • Builds proactive, collaborative relationships with Medical Directors, CMO, COO, and providers to develop and monitor corrective action strategies; coaches and develops team members, ensuring each understands their role and expected results, and stays motivated to meet practice goals and KPIs.
  • Partners with the People Team on recruitment and talent management strategy, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance reviews to build internal talent across clinical, business, and administrative roles; leads onboarding for new providers alongside Medical Directors and Practice Managers, and serves as a resource to finance and laboratory managers on hiring and talent management within the territory.
  • Cultivates a culture of engagement and accountability so every employee can thrive.
Financial Performance + Growth
  • Owns regional P&L performance and budget, closely monitoring KPIs and clinic-level performance to identify issues early, build and execute action plans, and drive growth, profitability, and lasting improvement while maintaining high team morale, patient satisfaction, and quality of care.
  • Drives both revenue growth and cost discipline across the territory without compromising quality of care or compliance.
  • Leads strategic planning for practice growth across the platform in partnership with Senior Leadership and the CMO, using regional analysis to prioritize investment and expansion decisions.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
  • Stays current on practice administration and healthcare regulatory trends; Monitors and keeps leadership abreast of regulatory issues, deficiencies, or potential problems that may have impacts or involve regulatory intervention activities in collaboration with Compliance Officer.
  • Investigates regulatory or compliance related complaints received. Reports findings and resolutions to leadership and Compliance Officer.
  • QC and oversight of provider(s) schedules and templates to ensure maximization of the patient experience, creation of a thoughtful and productive provider schedule, and compliance with billing and regulatory requirements for patient visits
  • Oversight, implementation, and training for adherence to all protocols and policies
  • Develops,implementsand coordinates training programs in conjunction with applicable departments
Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public health, health administration, or related fieldrequired
  • Minimum five (5) years of business and clinical operations experience ina directly relatedfield required
  • Demonstrated success managing P&L, team development and operational scale
  • Proven ability to lead multi-site teams and drive performance outcomes
Employment Type

This is a full-time exempt position that requires 50% travel to sites. Must reside in NYC Metro.

Compensation

The starting salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
