Job summary

Mercy seeks a Vice President of Mission Integration to advise the President & CEO and lead Catholic identity, mission, values, and heritage across strategy, governance, and operations. This executive role shapes culture, patient experience, and workforce engagement in alignment with ERDs and Mercy’s healing ministry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in Catholic healthcare, mission integration, spiritual care, ethics, formation, or related ministry leadership required.
• Demonstrated success leading mission-centered organizational initiatives required.
• Experience working with executive leadership teams and governing boards required.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for mission integration, ethics, spiritual and pastoral care, ministry formation, community benefit, ecclesial relationships, and systemwide patient experience initiatives.
• Promote Catholic identity, Ethical and Religious Directives adherence, and mission-focused culture across governance, operations, and strategy.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure mission principles inform policies, decisions, and workforce development.
