Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Catholic theology, spirituality, and healthcare ministry.
• Strong understanding of Catholic social teaching and ERDs.
• Experience leading mission integration and organizational development.
• Ability to influence executive leadership and boards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as executive steward of Mercy’s mission, vision, values, and Catholic identity.
• Guide mission discernment for strategic initiatives, partnerships, affiliations, acquisitions, and organizational change.
• Provide ethics leadership and oversee Ethics Committee.
• Oversee Spiritual Care and Pastoral Care services.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive ministry formation strategy for leaders, providers, board members, and caregivers.
• Lead community benefit, outreach, and health equity initiatives.
