Mercy Cedar Rapids seeks a Vice President of Mission Integration to guide Catholic identity across strategy and operations. This executive will partner with the President & CEO and the leadership team to advance mission, ethics, spiritual care, and stakeholder relationships, aligning culture with Mercy’s healing ministry.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive leadership experience in Catholic healthcare.
• Experience leading mission-centered organizational initiatives.
• Experience with executive leadership teams and governing boards.
• Active, practicing Catholic in good standing.
• Knowledge of Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the executive steward of Mercy’s mission, values, heritage, and Catholic identity.
• Ensure mission integration informs strategy, operations, governance, and culture.
• Provide executive leadership for ethics, spiritual care, and related services.
• Develop and deliver ministry formation strategies for leaders and caregivers.
• Oversee community benefit, health equity, and partnerships with external organizations.
