Job description

About Vultron

Vultron is bringing the power of modern artificial intelligence and large language models to the government contractors and enterprises to win more and faster. We're growing fast and looking for a hands-on marketing leader to build and scale our marketing function from the ground up.

The Role: VP of Marketing

We’re hiring a VP of Marketing to own and build Vultron’s entire marketing strategy and execution engine. You’ll be the architect and operator across demand generation, product marketing, content, brand, and creative — rolling up your sleeves to drive outcomes while building the team over time.

You’ll work directly with the CEO, sales, and product leadership, and oversee a small but growing team (starting with our Sr. Product Marketing Manager). This is a foundational role: you’ll have a direct hand in shaping how Vultron goes to market today and in the future.

What You'll Own
  • Demand Generation: Build and execute campaigns across paid channels, SEO, email nurture, webinars, and partnerships to drive pipeline and revenue.

  • Product Marketing: Oversee messaging, positioning, competitive intelligence, launches, and sales enablement — partnering closely with product and sales leadership.

  • Content Marketing: Develop the content engine—blogs, whitepapers, case studies, customer stories—that fuels inbound interest and supports sales.

  • Brand & Creative: Define and evolve Vultron’s brand identity, tone of voice, visual language, and creative assets to stand out in a competitive market.

  • Marketing Operations: Set up and optimize marketing automation, CRM integrations, reporting dashboards, and lead scoring to ensure scalable growth.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Sr. Product Marketing Manager and future hires. Build a high-performing marketing team over time.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and sales to align messaging, drive launches, support revenue targets, and bring customer feedback into marketing strategies.

  • Analytics & Optimization: Define KPIs, track marketing performance, and optimize efforts based on data and insights.

Who You Are
  • 10+ years of marketing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally selling into enterprise, government, or highly regulated vertical markets.

  • Proven track record building and scaling marketing at an early-stage or growth-stage company.

  • Hands-on across all major marketing functions (demand gen, product marketing, content, brand) — comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing the work.

  • Deep understanding of modern marketing tools, technologies, and performance metrics.

  • Skilled at developing differentiated positioning and messaging in competitive markets.

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, able to align with sales, product, and executive teams.

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.

  • Analytical and data-driven—comfortable running experiments, analyzing funnel data, and making decisions rooted in metrics.

  • Creative and scrappy—can build high-impact programs without needing massive resources.

  • Bonus: Experience in AI, defense tech, or selling into government-adjacent markets.

  • Based in SF / SF Bay Area

Why Vultron
  • Help shape a fast-growing AI company from the ground up.

  • Work closely with a world-class leadership team and cutting-edge product.

  • Build a marketing function where your work directly impacts growth and outcomes.

  • Competitive compensation, early-stage equity, and benefits.
