Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on Java
• Advanced knowledge of core Java: collections, streams, concurrency, memory management
• Experience with Spring ecosystem: Boot, Batch, Integration, Data
• Experience building high-volume, calculation-intensive, or distributed apps
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
• Experience with Kafka/JMS messaging
• Strong SQL and relational DB experience
• JUnit/Mockito, TDD, and automated integration testing
• Proven performance troubleshooting and optimization
• Proficiency with Linux, Git, CI/CD, and prod-support practices
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to lead delivery and communicate with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deliver Java applications for margin calculation
• Translate financial requirements into robust, maintainable solutions
• Lead technical design for major enhancements and roadmap contributions
• Optimize performance with concurrency and efficient DB access
• Develop high-volume batch and event-driven processing workflows
• Review code, establish standards, and mentor engineers
• Own deliverables from requirements to production
• Investigate issues and implement long-term fixes
• Improve monitoring, resiliency, and operations support
• Collaborate with global teams to manage dependencies and risks
• Ensure security, regulatory, audit, and tech-control requirements
