VP of IT
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced VP of IT to lead and scale our technology organization across manufacturing sites and international markets. This role will define and execute a unified IT strategy that supports manufacturing operations, global ERP (NetSuite) deployment and optimization, infrastructure resilience, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. The VP of IT will partner with business leaders to drive operational efficiencies, digital transformation initiatives (including MES and other manufacturing systems), and ensure secure, scalable, and compliant global IT operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a global IT strategy aligned to the company's manufacturing and business objectives, with a focus on NetSuite optimization and enterprise scalability.
  • Provide leadership and hands-on guidance for NetSuite ERP implementation, configuration, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing governance across manufacturing sites.
  • Own IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services and disaster recovery strategies to ensure high availability, business continuity and scalable performance.
  • Drive deployment and integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other plant-level applications to improve production visibility, quality and throughput.
  • Lead cybersecurity and data protection programs, including threat management, incident response, vulnerability management and compliance with GDPR, CCPA and other regional regulations.
  • Establish IT governance, policies, standards and frameworks to ensure consistent, auditable and risk-aware practices across global operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D) to prioritize initiatives, align IT roadmaps and measure business outcomes.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and oversee third-party implementations and service delivery.
  • Build, coach and scale a global IT organization, defining roles, career paths, and performance metrics to deliver operational excellence.
  • Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts and capital plans while driving cost optimization and clear measurement of ROI.
  • Sponsor software development practices, application lifecycle management and DevOps initiatives to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and security.
  • Lead change management and training programs to ensure successful adoption of new systems, processes and operating models.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred. Proven experience leading global IT organizations in a manufacturing environment, with direct responsibility for NetSuite or comparable cloud ERP platforms.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT Leadership experience in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Deep experience in manufacturing systems and operational technologies, including MES implementations and plant-level integrations.
  • NetSuite proficiency a must with strong knowledge of ERP, infrastructure, applications, networks and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Demonstrated track record of architecting scalable cloud and hybrid environments, disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
  • Hands-on experience with IT governance frameworks, regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA) and enterprise security programs.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar IT budgets, vendor negotiations and third-party contracts.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Excellent communication, change management and people leadership skills with a focus on building high-performing global teams.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced manufacturing and global business environment, with a bias for results, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

This role should be considered an onsite position with a minimum of 4 days in office required.
