Job summary

Legacy Healthcare is seeking a strategic Vice President of Human Resources & Labor to lead HR, workforce strategy, employee relations, and labor initiatives across a 15-facility skilled nursing organization.

This hands-on executive role balances regulatory requirements, financial performance, and staff well-being, partnering with Administrators, Regional Leaders, and executive leadership to drive recruitment, retention, engagement, and culture throughout the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred for senior leadership roles in healthcare HR.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar HR certification preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience across multi-site organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead HR across 15 skilled nursing facilities and partner with executive leadership.
• Drive workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
• Oversee labor strategies, cost management, and compliance across facilities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Equip facility leadership with coaching, metrics, and performance guidance.
