Job summary

WISEcode Labs seeks a hands-on VP of Operations to lead end-to-end laboratory operations, delivering operational excellence, quality, and scalable growth for a premier food testing partner. You will optimize throughput, staff, and capital deployment while maintaining data integrity and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership in a regulated lab, cross-functional collaboration, and a proven record of driving KPIs, with the CEO and leadership team to deliver superior service,

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a regulated lab operation.
• Demonstrated ability to scale throughput and capacity.
• Strong data-driven decision making with KPI focus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end laboratory operations ownership, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Drive quality, compliance, safety and audit readiness with ISO/IEC 17025.
• Build capacity planning, courier/logistics, and continuous improvement programs.
• Lead people, develop managers, and align with commercial goals.
• Oversee systems and technology, including portal/LIMS integration and data governance.
• Plan capital, facilities, and business continuity to support growth.
• Partner with Sales/BD on pricing, throughput, and customer commitments.
