Job summary

Central Indiana Corporate Partnership seeks a strategic Vice President of Financial Operations to lead the organization’s accounting, reporting and financial planning functions in Indianapolis.

Reporting to the President and CFO, you will manage a talented team, ensure strong internal controls, drive process improvements and provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives across CICP and its branded programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required or preferred.
• CPA/CFA/CMA or relevant certification required.
• At least ten years of financial leadership experience.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Experience in nonprofit organizations and grant/funding contexts is a plus.
• Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for accounting, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Develop budgeting processes, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with executives to support strategic initiatives with financial insight.
• Oversee grant funding contracts and compliance requirements.
• Lead process improvements and automation of financial systems and workflows.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team and cross-functional partners.
