Job summary

Brown & Brown seeks a VP Financial Analytics & Modeling Leader to define the analytics strategy for the national pharmacy consulting practice. Lead a high-performing team of actuaries and analysts, shaping modeling frameworks, analytics platforms, and talent development across the organization.

You will advise leadership and clients, establishing direction for financial modeling, tools, and methodologies while driving innovation and market insights in PBM trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, actuarial science, or related analytical discipline.
• Actuarial designation (ASA, FSA, MAAA) preferred or equivalent forecasting experience.
• 10+ years in pharmacy benefit consulting or healthcare financial strategy roles.
• Deep PBM financial models, pricing, contracts, and industry trends.
• Strong actuarial/forecasting acumen for utilization, cost, rebates, specialty trends.
• Experience designing evolving proprietary analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of PBM trends, biosimilars, and funding programs.
• Proven leadership of analytics or consulting teams.
• Strategic thinker capable of translating market dynamics into action.
• Advanced Excel and data viz familiarity (Tableau/Power BI).
• Experience with large datasets, pharmacy/medical claims, relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the national financial analytics team through mentoring, structuring, and scaling.
• Define evolution of financial models and tools aligned with PBM pricing structures.
• Drive innovation in analytics to enhance tools, insights, automation, and scalability.
• Serve as a senior SME on PBM financial structures, terms, and pricing for client engagements.
• Partner across divisions to advance integrated solutions and operational efficiencies.
• Provide strategic oversight of financial deliverables for consistency and quality.
• Guide complex analyses tied to PBM contracts, rebates, and total cost of care.
• Influence thought leadership and market positioning with insights on pharmacy trends.
• Drive process standardization, governance, and quality across analytics operations.
• Own development and governance of trend assumptions and forecasting methodologies.
