This is a hands-on senior finance leadership role partnering with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership. Qualifications

• At least 12 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• At least five years as Controller, Corporate Controller, Vice President of Finance, Division Controller, or similar senior financial leader.
• Substantial manufacturing finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, inventory accounting, BOMs, routings, labor standards, overhead allocation, and variance analysis.
• Experience leading ERP implementations in a manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Experience overseeing month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and tax coordination.
• Ability to identify issues, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to operate as both a senior leader and hands-on contributor.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and robust accounting controls.
• Improve the accuracy and usefulness of financial reporting.
• Lead manufacturing cost accounting processes and standard costs development.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, overhead, and other cost drivers.
• Analyze profitability and variances across products and cost centers.
• Partner with operations to improve costing accuracy and performance visibility.
• Oversee ERP implementation and post-implementation optimization.
• Define ERP requirements for accounting, costing, inventory, and internal control.
