Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • CPA, MBA, or other advanced credentials preferred.
  • Progressive leadership experience within accounting, finance, or related business functions.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and business operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and driving organizational improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the organization's financial management activities, including accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information used by leadership for planning and decision‑making.
  • Provide oversight of financial controls, risk management processes, and compliance activities.
  • Lead long‑range financial planning efforts and support organizational objectives through effective allocation of resources.
  • Evaluate operational and financial trends to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, profitability, and business improvement.
  • Partner with organizational leaders to assess strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, investments, and capital expenditures.
  • Maintain relationships with lending institutions, auditors, tax advisors, and other external business partners.
  • Guide and develop financial and technology professionals through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and organizational performance.
  • Participate in executive discussions regarding business strategy, organizational priorities, and future growth objectives.

An established, privately owned organization is seeking a senior finance executive to provide strategic leadership across financial operations, technology oversight, and organizational planning.

This executive will serve as a key member of the leadership team and play an integral role in supporting business performance through financial stewardship, operational insight, and forward-looking planning. The position requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong financial acumen, leadership capability, and a practical understanding of business operations.

Position Summary

The Vice President of Finance will guide the financial direction of the organization while ensuring effective management of financial reporting, planning, compliance, technology resources, and operational analytics. This leader will partner with executive management to evaluate business opportunities, support growth initiatives, optimize financial performance, and strengthen decision‑making through data‑driven insights.

Experience implementing and utilizing emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence solutions, is highly desired. The successful candidate will recognize opportunities where technology can enhance reporting, forecasting, analysis, process efficiency, and business decision support while promoting responsible and secure adoption practices throughout the organization.
