Nox Metals is seeking a VP of Operations to lead and scale factory operations across multiple sites, including Detroit and Los Angeles. The role focuses on launching new facilities, building leadership teams, and delivering high-quality production with strong safety standards.

You will drive staffing, training, and performance improvements on the factory floor, partnering with engineering and software teams to bring better automation to operations and ensure reliable execution as the company

Proven record of opening and ramping factories.
Experience building teams during rapid growth.
Strong hiring and leadership development skills.
Uncompromising about safety, quality, and accountability.

Responsabilités

Own new factory setup and launch, including site readiness, layout, equipment installation, staffing, training, and ramp.
Build the organization for each facility, hiring plant leaders, supervisors, operators, and support teams.
Lead hiring at scale with clear staffing plans and high hiring standards.
Establish onboarding, training, and qualification programs for safe, reliable work.
Hire, coach, and manage leaders who run large teams and own results.
Own day-to-day factory performance across sites, with accountability for safety, quality, throughput, and on-time delivery.
Design staffing models, shift structures, and management routines for growth.
Set operating standards, work instructions, and shift handoffs used by teams.
Work on the floor with teams to resolve bottlenecks and improve operations.
