Job summary

AIR Silicon Valley, part of Automated Industrial Robotics Silicon Valley Inc., seeks an experienced engineering leader to guide our Silicon Valley technical team through design, development, and deployment of advanced automated equipment. You will partner with customers, shape concepts, manage risk, and drive first‑of‑a‑kind systems into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with complex capital equipment.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Experience with multidisciplinary systems (mechanical, electrical, controls, software).
• Experience in semiconductor equipment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high‑performing engineering organization.
• Shape concepts and architectures from concept through first article build.
• Collaborate with customers and AIR Sales to align on technical direction.
• Drive risk management and ensure on‑time, quality deployment of systems.
