Job summary

Fuse Energy in San Francisco is hiring a VP of Engineering to take full ownership of a core domain, reporting to the CTO and guiding strategy, architecture, delivery, and team leadership.

You will own end-to-end delivery across AI, trading, retail or other platform areas, architect and build real-time generation and consumption pipelines, and lead a hands-on engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Take full technical and delivery ownership of a core area of the business, which could span AI, trading, retail, or another part of the platform
• Architect and build the core systems in your domain, from real-time generation and demand modelling through to high-volume consumption pipelines and the customer-facing app
• Build and lead the engineering team in your domain, including hiring, structure, and standards
• Set technical direction alongside the CTO and the wider leadership team
• Ship alongside your team on the hardest problems

We're hiring a VP of Engineering to take full ownership of one of our core engineering domains. You'll report to our CTO and own your domain outright, including strategy, architecture, delivery, and the team. This is a hands-on leadership role.
