Job summary

Fidelity Workplace Investing seeks an experienced Data Science leader to guide a team delivering AI-powered, personalized digital experiences for customers. You will collaborate with product, engineering, design, and business leaders to convert opportunities into measurable AI-driven outcomes.

You will advance our AI strategy, establish best practices, and lead the full lifecycle from experimentation to governance, including GenAI capabilities and responsible adoption of emerging AI technologies.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, data science, or related fields.
• Significant experience leading teams, programs, and organizational AI initiatives.
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists through the full AI lifecycle—from experimentation and model development to deployment, monitoring, governance, and optimization.
• Partner with product, engineering, design, and business leaders to identify high-value opportunities and deliver AI-powered solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
• Translate business opportunities into AI-driven solutions and communicate risks and opportunities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Drive AI strategy, best practices, and responsible adoption of emerging AI technologies.
