Job summary

Axon seeks a senior data architecture leader to reinvent data migrations, conversions, and integrations across Fusus, Records, Standards, Gravity, and Vision. You will replace ad hoc approaches with reusable, end-to-end frameworks and tooling.

You will build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, conduct schema mapping and data quality work, and set governance standards while guiding a growing team of data engineers and architects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading data engineering, integration, or migration teams.
• 5+ years in hands-on architecture, systems, programming, or build capacity.
• Experience designing and building data migration platforms or frameworks at scale.
• Deep fluency in ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-assisted mapping to accelerate conversion work.
• Experience with enterprise data integration platforms like Informatica, MuleSoft, Fivetran, Databricks, Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Owns architecture and execution strategy for migrations, conversions, and integrations across multiple product lines.
• Designs and builds a modern migration platform with configurable per-agency pipelines.
• Leads engineering and solution architecture teams for legacy data extraction and conversion.
• Establishes common data mapping, transformation, and validation standards across products.
• Defines data governance, security, and chain-of-custody requirements for sensitive data.
• Mentors and scales a team of data engineers and solution architects.
