Job summary

Advocates for Trans Equality, founded in 2024, fights for the legal and political rights of transgender people in America. With ~40 staff, the organization leads advocacy across the country and collaborates with allied movements to advance transgender equality.

The role coordinates cross-department strategies, engages external partners, and develops ballot-focused tactics for upcoming elections, driving impactful policy outcomes for the trans community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years leadership experience with demonstrated management and coaching skills.
• Strong working knowledge of lobbying at state or federal level and legal compliance.
• Deep understanding of transgender justice and intersectional oppression.
