TransUnion LLC is seeking a visionary VP, Data Science and Analytics to lead AI strategy, architecture, and product integration. You will guide senior leaders across Data Science, Engineering, Product, Solutions, and Innovation, shaping scalable, responsible AI at scale.

You will build and mentor a globally distributed team of scientists and engineers, drive enterprise AI R&D, partner with business units, and deliver measurable business impact through production-grade AI systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in AI/ML with leadership of large-scale AI R&D and measurable business impact.
• Experience delivering AI-powered products combining generative and classical AI in production.
• Executive-level communication and cross-functional leadership.
• PhD in AI/CS or related discipline or equivalent expertise.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid AI systems and planning/logic methods.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise AI R&D strategy.
• Lead design of production-grade agentic systems and cognitive architectures.
• Advance hybrid AI systems blending symbolic and learning-based approaches.
• Build and scale a high-performing team of scientists and engineers.
• Translate research into production-ready platforms and reusable components.
• Partner with product and business leaders to embed AI into customer products.
• Establish practices for AI experimentation and benchmarking.
• Develop reusable AI capabilities and platform components.
• Foster external research partnerships with universities and industry.
• Embed responsible AI principles and governance into systems.
