Job summary

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District seeks a Vice President of Academic Affairs at Grossmont College to lead instructional programs, the library, and technology resources. Reporting to the President, you will guide curriculum development, program review, and coordination across Student Services, Administrative Services, and Institutional Effectiveness to advance student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field required.
• Three years of progressive management experience in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of Education Code, Title 5 and related regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervise planning and coordination of instructional programs and services.
• Develop curriculum and program review processes aligning with district goals.
• Direct recruitment, selection, and supervision of department directors and staff.
• Advise the President on management issues and policy development.
• Prepare and manage budgets; produce required reports and ensure fiscal compliance.
