Job summary

Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) seeks a Vice President for Ocean Conservation to lead a high-impact program dedicated to restoring and protecting New England’s ocean and biodiversity. This role calls for strategic leadership, collaborative engagement, and a commitment to public-interest advocacy.

Based in CLF’s Boston office with flexibility for some remote work within New England, you will guide a 10+ person team, align program priorities with CLF’s strategic plan, and partner with funders

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in ocean law and policy.
• Experience in litigation is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in leading interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the vision and strategy for CLF’s Ocean conservation work.
• Oversee a 10+ member team and build partnerships with communities and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development to identify fundraising opportunities and prepare budgets and reports.
• Manage an annual program budget of approximately $1.8 million.
• Coordinate with communications on campaigns, messaging, and collateral.
• Represent CLF before partner communities, public officials, and audiences.
