Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Vice President, Network Operations to lead centralized strategic supply chain activities and programs, simplifying workflows and improving performance across the network. This executive will oversee capital planning, network design, capacity and automation capabilities, reporting to the Senior VP of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Operations.

Location: Ohio-based preferred, with relocation assistance provided as appropriate.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management functions preferred.
Automation deployment experience in a distribution center or manufacturing site preferred.
Experience leading new distribution center builds and implementations.
Executive-level leadership with cross-functional partnerships and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the Network Operations vision, strategy, and goals.
Develop the modernization strategy, roadmap and investment plan for the network.
Lead continuous improvement and optimization across the network.
Lead network design, capacity planning and cost-to-serve assessments.
Oversee capital investments including automation deployment and DC modernization.
Lead and manage the Network Operations team, including hiring and coaching.
