  • Develop and execute the Network Operations vision, strategy, and goals aligned with company priorities
  • Develop, oversee, and execute the supply chain modernization strategy, roadmap, and investment plan
  • Advance supply chain digital and automation capabilities
  • Lead continuous improvement and network optimization to enhance service quality, availability, reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead supply chain network design and assess time and costs to bring goods to market
  • Diagnose supply chain challenges and implement system, process, and physical improvements across the network
  • Establish and enforce robust supply chain policies and procedures
  • Lead intelligent supply chain metrics and reporting
  • Oversee capital investments, automation deployment, and distribution center modernization
  • Travel up to 20% and coordinate across geographies

Job description

  • Develop and execute the Network Operations vision, strategy, and goals aligned with company priorities
  • Develop, oversee, and execute the supply chain modernization strategy, roadmap, and investment plan
  • Advance supply chain digital and automation capabilities
  • Lead continuous improvement and network optimization to enhance service quality, availability, reliability, efficiency, effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and retention
  • Lead supply chain network design and assess time and costs required to bring goods to market
  • Diagnose supply chain challenges and ensure system, process, and physical improvements across the network
  • Establish and enforce robust supply chain policies and procedures
  • Lead intelligent supply chain, functional performance metrics, and reporting
  • Lead execution of new supply chain management programs and lean supply chain initiatives
  • Oversee supply chain functional KPIs and execute performance improvement initiatives
  • Lead the overall function budget in alignment with strategic priorities and performance objectives
  • Manage network additions, moves, changes, and maintenance activities
  • Lead and manage the Network Operations team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensure labor management programs deliver expected results
  • Lead network-wide strategic projects
  • Oversee operations support for customer RFP inventory, capacity, and service levels
  • Develop transportation and distribution center capacity and expansion or consolidation strategies
  • Oversee capital investments, automation deployment, distribution center modernization and planning, and resiliency investments
  • Report to the Senior Vice President, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management functions preferred
  • Automation deployment experience in a distribution center or manufacturing site environment preferred
  • Experience leading new distribution center builds and implementations, from strategic planning and site readiness through operational launch and continuous improvement
  • Proven experience developing and executing enterprise-wide supply chain network strategies across complex distribution environments
  • Proven ability to interface and partner with executive business leaders and strategic partners
  • Strong track record of leveraging cross-functional resources to deliver supply chain solutions
  • Innovative and critical thinking, adaptability in problem-solving, and ability to provide actionable outcomes
  • Strong presentation skills suitable for all levels of the organization
  • Large scale business case development with financial acumen
  • Executive-level leadership experience managing diversity of talent across geographies
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict management skills
  • Timely decision making, priority setting, and well-rounded perspective
  • Excellent process and program management skills
  • Active listening and creative thinking
  • Ability to travel 20%
  • Ohio-based location preferred
