Job summary

Hamilton Lane is seeking a Vice President in National Accounts to grow our presence with independent broker‑dealers and digital platforms. You will lead senior relationships, coordinate with field teams, and oversee due‑diligence and platform onboarding for evergreen, semi‑liquid, and private wealth products.

You will manage multi‑stakeholder relationships, drive AUM growth, and negotiate platform agreements while collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and Product. 30–50% travel expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in national accounts, platform relationships, or asset management distribution, with private markets focus.
• Established relationships with home-office due-diligence, platform, and product teams at IBD/digital platforms.
• Knowledge of private markets fund structures (evergreen/semi-liquid funds, interval funds, tender‑offer funds, non-traded BDCs).
• Proven track record of managing complex multi-stakeholder relationships and driving AUM/revenue growth.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) required; additional licenses a plus.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, CAIA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead relationships across independent broker-dealer firms, digital platforms, and strategic wirehouses/RIAs.
• Collaborate with National Sales Manager and wholesalers to drive growth across shared accounts.
• Oversee due-diligence processes: RFPs, DDQs, platform onboarding, and product/menu placement.
• Develop account plans with targets for sales, AUM growth, and advisor engagement; coordinate with field partners.
• Drive trainings, conferences, webinars, and due-diligence meetings to boost product adoption.
• Negotiate platform agreements, fees, and servicing terms with Legal, Compliance, and Product teams.
• Monitor platform sales, flows, redemption activity, and retention risks; flag trends early.
• Represent client needs to Product/Marketing/Fund Management; share competitive intel and platform requirements.
• Partner with Marketing on platform campaigns, collateral, and digital content.
• Track pipeline, AUM, and revenue against goals using CRM; stay updated on private markets trends and regulation.
• Represent Hamilton Lane at conferences and due-diligence forums.
