Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Mutual Fund Operations to lead all facets of mutual fund operations, including settlements, reconciliations, and platform readiness. The role spans governance, vendor oversight, and relationship management with fund families and market utilities.

In this hybrid position, in-office days are three per week in Saint Petersburg, FL, Memphis, TN, or Southfield, MI.

Qualifications

• Must have strong strategic planning skills and ability to oversee complex programs.
• Proven project management experience in a regulated financial environment.
• Demonstrated leadership of large; diverse teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid understanding of FINRA, SEC, IRS and other regulatory requirements.
• Experience in mutual fund or asset management operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end mutual fund operations including governance, trade settlement, and reconciliations.
• Oversee onboarding of new mutual funds, share classes, and platform readiness.
• Advise on governance of securities master, trading restrictions, and corporate actions.
• Lead governance, budgeting, and strategic direction for the function.
