Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Operations to lead mutual fund operations, including account services, reconciliations, and trading, with responsibility for governance, platform readiness, and vendor management.

The role requires extensive experience in large, regulated environments, leadership of large teams, and collaboration with fund families and market utilities. This hybrid role involves in-office days and complex stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end mutual fund operations, including governance of securities master and trading restrictions; trade execution and settlement; corporate actions and fund event processing; share class conversions; cash, share, and dividend reconciliation; vendor oversight; fund relationship management; and leadership of the project/change portfolio.
• Oversee onboarding of new mutual funds and share classes with accurate configuration of eligibility rules, minimums, fees/load structures, and trading restrictions across systems and channels.
• Serve as executive liaison with fund families, transfer agents, vendors, and market utilities to ensure operational readiness for new offerings, corporate actions, and regulatory changes.
• Provide executive oversight and strategic direction for the project and change portfolio, prioritizing initiatives and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
