Job summary

Santander is seeking a VP-level Murex Application Developer to lead architecture, design, and delivery for the Murex MX.3 platform within Corporate & Investment Banking. You will own enhancements across Front Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Finance, Operations, and Back Office domains, partnering with global teams to ensure stability and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, deep Capital Markets technology experience, and the ability to mentor engineers while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline
• Master's Degree preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, implementation and support of Murex MX.3 initiatives across Global Markets.
• Own delivery of enhancements across Front Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Finance, Operations and Back Office domains.
• Design and configure Murex components including workflows, pricing, simulation, and reporting.
• Lead platform upgrades, migrations, and production releases with vendor engagement.
