Rate Inc. in Chicago seeks a data-driven VP of Metrics & Growth to lead the Rate App’s expansion in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will own analytics, growth experiments, and performance reporting to drive measurable business impact.

The role requires building scalable KPI systems, partnering with product and engineering, and guiding strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of growth, analytics, or product management in fintech, consumer tech, or digital marketplaces.
  • Proven track record of driving user growth and engagement through data-driven strategies.
  • Deep expertise in funnel optimization, cohort analyses, LTV, attribution, and A/B testing.
  • Experience building KPI frameworks from scratch and driving a metrics-driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive KPI framework tracking acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, revenue, and referrals for the Rate App.
  • Lead growth experimentation including A/B/multivariate testing and optimization of conversion funnels.
  • Drive cross-functional programs across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Analytics.
  • Build executive dashboards and reporting cadences to enable data-informed decisions at all levels.

Establish data infrastructure and reporting systems that provide real-time visibility into product performance, user behavior, and growth funnel metrics. Define success metrics for all growth initiatives and ensure rigorous measurement and attribution across channels. Build executive dashboards and reporting cadences that drive data-informed decision making at all levels of the organization. Partner with Data Science and Analytics teams to develop predictive models and advanced analytics capabilities.**Growth Strategy & Execution**Lead growth hacking initiatives across paid acquisition, organic growth, viral loops, referral programs, and retention optimization. Drive rapid experimentation through A/B testing, multivariate testing, and growth experiments to identify scalable acquisition and engagement strategies. Optimize conversion funnels and eliminate friction points throughout the user journey from awareness through transaction completion. Develop and execute channel-specific growth strategies including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, partnerships, and in-app growth levers.
