Job summary

Kardigan is seeking a Head of Medical Affairs to lead and unify its Medical Affairs organization as the company advances a portfolio of cardiovascular therapies toward late-stage development and potential launch readiness.

The Head will partner with the CEO and ELT to create and execute Medical Affairs strategy, build capabilities such as field medical and HEOR, and own the budget, headcount, and governance framework as Kardigan grows.

Qualifications

• MD or PharmD with cardiovascular disease expertise.
• 12+ years of biopharma industry experience for VP role; 5+ years leading Medical Affairs teams.
• Proven leadership across cardiovascular indications and product launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead, unify, and scale Kardigan’s Medical Affairs organization.
• Develop and execute strategy for prioritized cardiovascular indications.
• Own budget, headcount, and operating model for Medical Affairs.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-caliber Medical Affairs talent.
• Strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific communities.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Clinical Development, Commercial, Regulatory, and Safety.
