Job summary

Kardigan is seeking a Senior Director, Product Strategy to lead the integrated product strategy for an investigational cardiovascular program, reporting to the VP of Product Strategy. You will build the target product profile, value proposition, and differentiation while guiding the cross-functional program team.

Based in Princeton, NJ, the role combines strategic execution with analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning to inform portfolio decisions and potential launch readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences strategy experience.
• Experience developing core product strategy deliverables — target product profiles, value propositions, and competitive assessments.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access.
• Strong analytical capability including financial modeling, forecasting, and program valuation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work on-site four days per week in Princeton, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and evolve the integrated product strategy for the assigned program.
• Draft and iterate target product profile, value proposition, and differentiation strategy; drive cross-functional input.
• Partner with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs on trial design, endpoint selection, and evidence-generation planning.
• Conduct scenario planning and trade-off analyses across indications, lines of therapy, and geographies.
• Own evolving go-to-market strategy and launch-readiness plans; support governance reviews and portfolio decisions.
