Job summary

TWG Global is hiring a VP of Market Surveillance to lead hands-on monitoring across a CFTC-regulated DCM and shape scalable surveillance standards. You will monitor activity, investigate cases, and build reports, bringing exchange-side and regulatory expertise to the table.

This builder role requires deep knowledge of market surveillance, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering. On-site in New York City.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in market monitoring and surveillance or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with trading data.
• Clear writing and communication for technical and regulatory audiences.

Responsibilities

• Run real-time monitoring and post-trade surveillance across regulated sport event contracts.
• Own investigations end to end, document findings, and escalate when needed.
• Translate surveillance into product features with engineering and data science.
• Refine the surveillance framework including thresholds and escalation paths.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering to strengthen workflows.
• Help define team standards and structure as surveillance scales.
