Job summary

Covenant House International seeks a visionary Vice President, Donor Relations to lead transformational philanthropy, securing seven- and eight-figure commitments from ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, this role manages a select donor portfolio, develops custom strategies, and moves prospects through the donor lifecycle with independence and accountability, advancing Covenant House's mission across its global sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-15 years of progressive fundraising experience, with substantial focus on major and principal gifts.
• Proven track record of personally securing seven- to eight-figure commitments from high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Experience managing a portfolio through all stages of the donor cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors capable of $1M+ commitments.
• Manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects.
• Lead complex donor engagements and move prospects through the lifecycle.
