Job summary

CSC Generation, a multi-brand platform backed by private equity, seeks a Vice President, M&A Origination in the Los Angeles area with hybrid work. You will define origination strategy, build a proprietary pipeline, and manage relationships with owners, founders, and advisors to surface deal opportunities.

In this high-impact role, you will size markets, map potential targets, and oversee the early screening and qualification to advance opportunities to the investment team, contributing to growth

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in private equity, investment banking, or comparable principal investing with deal origination as a major component.
• Proven track record of sourcing transactions that closed at volume.
• Deep, current network across middle-market bankers, brokers, corporate development teams, lenders, and advisors.

Responsibilities

• Define origination strategy and market coverage end-to-end.
• Source proprietary opportunities directly from owners, founders, and management teams before a formal process exists.
• Screen opportunities, build the initial commercial case, and present a clear recommendation to the investment team with market context, seller motivation, valuation, and risk.
